Roasted Birdseye maple

Birdseye maple is usually found in hard maple which has almost twice the strength of other maple species.

It is carefully torrefied at constant pressure and low oxygen. This reduces the moisture content and makes it lighter and harder. Due to this process Roasted maple generally does not need carbon fibre reinforcement and will perform better under changing moisture levels.

Uses: Neck and Fretboards
